Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
